This is a place I always go back to, and never alone. Whenever I have visitors from other boroughs, cities, or countries, I always take them Bajeko Sekuwa. The food is superb; whether Himalayan or Indian they make a great job. Today, my friend, a foodie, said the momos from Bajeko were the best she's ever had. Their soups are also perfect, and so is every dish with goat or lamb. The meat is tender, the sauces seasoned to perfection. The naan (they have 4 different kinds) is soft and fluffy. And the service is always wonderful: they're warm in personality, very attentive without being invasive. I wish there were more stars to give them... five stars don't seem to do justice to this amazing place.

The menu is a little intimidatingly large in offerings. One side has Nepalese / Himalayan cuisine and the other has more Indian focused dishes. Momos were my highlight this meal. The sets seem the most approachable. Our crew was being adventurous and wanted to order random things to make our own set. We ordered 5 dishes and some sides to share amongst 4 people and it was a good amount.

Having lunch with friends here, we got Dal bhat with fish, chicken, also butter chicken with roti. It took awhile for our order to came out, but since everything looks freshly cooked. I won't say it's the best thali/ dal bhat in the area, but my friend said the butter chicken is very good. I would come back to try their tandoori, which i saw what everyone else ordering.

Can i give this place 20 stars? This place was suggested to me and i have become such a big fan. Talk about food that is just exotic and bursting with flavor at the same time. It is Nepalese food, so its sorta a little bit Indian, and a little bit asian fused together and voila! Masterpiece food. The chicken noodles and cheese nan are to DIE FOR! Sure, it goes straight to my hips, but i loveee having meat in my trunk! Also, try the chicken fried dumplings. There are no words to describe how amazing their food is. Just go and try it. You'll adore this place just like me.

Everything we ordered was delicious -- the tandori chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender and moist. The naan with mozzarella was also very good. The chicken momo were excellent. All the sauces tasted good. The rice was well made. Overall a great experience, good food, good service and super affordable. We spent $53 for two people. Definitely recommend this local gem.

First off, wonderful customer service - my food was a bit late and the owner kindly offered me some chai to drink while I waited. There's plenty of seating inside. I ordered the Jhool momo with goat, spicy chicken momo, and aloo Tama. I liked the spicy momos better, especially because I like the texture of the half fried half steamed momos. The aloo Tama was a wonderful surprise as I loved the flavor of the bamboo shoots with the black eyed peas, and it's a great portion. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes, especially because of the kind service.

this place is busier the later it is at night so if its empty that may be why. ive never been to a nepalese restaurant before but it was one of the only places open 10pm and I hadnt eaten all day - im glad I tried this place though! I got the ktm khaja set which had a bit of everything but my favorite was the gizzard and cold chicken cubes (meat, shocking). I also got the bone soup which was warming and comforting on fall days like these where it starts to get cold at night. The staff were very kind and large groups of nepalese (it looked) ppl were drinking until 11. Definitely authentic nepalese food if you want a culinary adventure!

Located on Queens Boulevard, with the 7 train and buses nearby; also metered street parking. Spacious dining area, and was not busy that weekday lunchtime. Service is great from the two young ladies there who were attentive and helpful. One side of the menu had items that looked more familiar, so focused on the signature ones. Prices may vary depending on the protein. Got the chicken sekuwa and the Ktm Khaja Set non-veg. The sekuwa has grilled meat in herbs and spices- juicy pieces of chicken, mix of spices/flavor is mild. The Khaja set reminded me of a thali but all on one plate. An assortment of tastes and textures. I liked the soybeans (crunchy, little spicy - I did ask for mild, could be a good snack), the chicken chollia and the fried fish (wished there were more than 2 tiny pcs). The puffed and fried beaten rice as accompaniments were new to me, interesting and thought went ok with everything else.

I've not had much Nepalese food before so I'm glad I came with large group of friends so we were able to try a number of items. Our server was very helpful at explaining the menu and giving us recommendations. Almost all the dishes we ordered were quite delicious. We were very surprised by the Sukuti Sandheko which was fried but cold and almost like a jerky. We liked all the momos except for the chilly (fried) momos. We also really liked the crispy rice that came with the Ktm Khaja set. One of my favorite dishes was the bandel (wild boar) which was a deliciously fatty pork belly.
